Domnick Ward

MANAGING DIRECTOR, SALES & DESIGN ENGINEER

Domnick is the MD and founding partner of Crystal Air and is responsible for business development and key client relationships. His hands on approach keeps the team focused on new products and promotes innovation to find better engineered solutions while maintaining a healthy environment.

With over 30 years experience in the industry Domnick still enjoys the challenges here and abroad with input into our offices in Ireland, Holland and Finland. He is an active member of IRI and member of ASHRAE and a past chair of F-Gas IRI sub group and founder of FGR in Ireland. He also enjoys travelling and is known to play a round of golf.

Caroline Campbell

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR, MARKETING

Caroline graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Honours) from Athlone Institute of Technology in 2005. She joined Crystal Air that year to work within our Service & Maintenance Department and having been previously promoted to Manager of this department she was appointed Director of Service & Maintenance in 2014 with responsibility for the growth and development of the department.

Her key role is the management of our existing customer relationships whilst ensuring that our customer expectations are exceeded through our planned preventative maintenance programmes and 24/7/365 reactive call-out and support service. Caroline also has responsibility for ensuring that our ISO accredited quality standards are adhered to and maintained throughout all departments within Crystal Air.

David O'Brien

CONTRACTS DIRECTOR

As Contracts Director and Co-founder of Crystal Air Ltd, David’s key area of responsibility includes the management of all installations ensuring projects are delivered from inception to client handover and to a high industry standard.

David has 35 years experience in the air conditioning industry and has been involved in project applications using Close Control systems, Chillers, VRV and DX systems. David has extensive experience in managing data centre projects across Ireland & Europe.

He is also a member of the Institute of Refrigeration Ireland. David is also directly responsible for Health & Safety and quality procedures are adhered to at all times while keeping up with the ever changing Health & Safety legislation.

Damien Cassidy

CONTRACTS MANAGER

Damien joined Crystal Air Ltd in 2011 with over a decade of experience in the Construction industry and has worked his way up the ranks to his current role of Contracts Manager.

Damien’s role in the company is to assist David O’Brien in the day to day running of the Contract’s department and include the management of new installations projects ensuring projects are delivered from inception to client handover and to deliver a high-class standard of installation in a timely manner.

Manpreet Singh

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

A fellow of Association of Certified Charted Accountants, Manpreet joined Crystal Air in July 2019 to support our ambitious plans for future growth and development. He brought with him a significant depth of financial, commercial and general management experience.

Prior to joining Crystal Air, Manpreet had worked as Financial Controller/manager role in Jones Engineering Group and have spent over twelve years working in Irish & International construction industry.

John Valentine

GENERAL MANAGER, CRYSTAL AIR RENEWABLE ENERGY

John joined Crystal Air in 2020 to focus the heat pump business of Crystal Air under the Brand “Crystal Air Renewable Energy”. He worked in a number of construction related businesses over the years and was previously General Manager of Daikin in Ireland. In his current role he is responsible for providing heat pump solutions across domestic & commercial markets, in both the new and retrofit sectors.

Mick O'Reilly

TECHNICAL SERVICES DIRECTOR

Mick’s role within the company is to represent the company at all levels and work closely with customers and suppliers so that all members of staff can deliver a high-class service. 

Mick started his career with Crystal Air as an apprentice in 2003 and since qualifying as an engineer he has progressed through the company as a Site Supervisor, Contracts Manager, Technical Services Manager before he was appointed as Technical Services Director.

Hands on within the company Mick will ensure that the right tools and technology training is implemented within Crystal Air and provides technical back up to our engineers and clients for the continued growth and development of the business.

Don Hoban

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, DESIGN ENGINEER

Don is an engineer with over 20 years experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, from designing heat pumps at component level to solving complex controls issues. His experience, both in Ireland and internationally, allows him to apply a unique perspective to providing customised cooling solutions to Crystal Air’s clients.

Don is focused on providing long term value, by using quality, highly energy efficient equipment to minimise the total cost of ownership of plant and systems. He is a member of Engineers Ireland, the Institute of Refrigeration (UK) and the Institute of Refrigeration Ireland, where he serves on the technical committee and has delivered educational presentations to members. He is also part of CEN/TC182, the European standards group the writes and reviews all European standards for refrigeration systems including EN378.

Robin Chandler

Robin Chandler

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

Robin has 10 years experience in the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning industry. He started out working in air-conditioning design, estimation and applications and has gained great knowledge of design and functionality of several varying systems. Through this experience and knowledge, in the past 6 years he has transitioned into a technical sales role with responsibility for providing HVAC products and services for both contractor and manufacturer throughout Ireland.

Robin has joined Crystal Air as business development manager in the service and maintenance division with the emphasis on the growth and development of the department. His key role is to expand the current database of clients and enhance existing customer relationships working within the department to provide client tenders, surveys and product information in timely and professional manner.

Tony Ritchie

EXECUTIVE COACH

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Tony has extensive experience in senior management having occupied positions as both a Non-Executive Director and as Chairperson with several of Ireland’s leading companies. Having previously held the coveted position of CFO for Smurfit Kappa Ireland & UK, Tony was responsible for all group financial reporting requirements (management and statutory), investment & capital evaluation and all other strategic and business plan initiatives.

Having executed multiple M&A transactions for both Smurfit Kappa and their associative entities (Killeen Corrugated Products, Finlay Packaging Ltd, Ulster Paper Products, Woodfab Group) Tony has honed extensive experience across the realms of mergers, acquisitions and disposals. Tony was also heavily involved in various IT implementation processes throughout his tenure with Smurfit Kappa. This includes having rolled out SAP (across 8 countries, 6 languages, and 2,500 users), company intranet (Smurfit Europe), and a financial consolidation system (Hyperion Enterprise) on behalf of the Group. Tony was a Board Member of Smurfit Kappa Ireland & UK and its associated companies at various stages during his career.

Tony is a committed executive coach and invaluable member of the Crystal Air team. His mentorship approach centres on building authentic relationships and, through doing so, helping formulate and clarify ideas and goals, and tailoring the steps necessary to reaching them.

Mirelle Merenda Soares

EUROPEAN CONTRACTS MANAGER

Mirelle joined Crystal Air Ltd in 2019 and has project managed a number of hyper scale Data Centre projects in Holland, Belgium and Sweden.  

Mirelles focus is to deliver a high-class standard of installation, progress tracking, quality assurance and to gain the client trust through quick response to all their requests in order to contribute to the compliance and successful project delivery.

Mirelle has developed her career within the business and has recently been promoted to her current role of European Contracts Manager to assist David O´Brien in the day to day running of the Contracts abroad.
