Building Partnership with Salesian College

Crystal Air are proud to announce the formation of an educational partnership with Salesian College, Celbridge. The aim of this partnership is to support and reward academic achievement in Leaving Certificate Engineering Technology.

The Young Engineers

At a recent ceremony held in Salesian College David O’Brien our Contracts Director pictured above far left presented five Leaving Certificate students second from left, Caolan Smyth, Gearoid O’ Connor, Dylan Connolly, Paul Black, Dillon Ryan with a certificate and engraved medal for achieving a H1 in higher level Engineering.

The Young Engineers Award 2017

One of the five students being honoured pictured below was Gearoid O’Connor who worked alongside the Crystal Air Team completing his work experience in 2016. We were delighted to see him go on to achieve The Young Engineers Award 2017 coming first out of 4,892 students in Ireland in his Higher Level Leaving Certificate in Engineering. The national award was presented at an awards ceremony in Letterkenny Co. Donegal by the Engineering Technology Teachers Association.

The Young Engineers Award

As part of his award Gearoid also received an internship with Randox Teoranta a R&D medical devices company in Donegal where he will get to experience engineering in action.

Gearoid is now pursuing his passion for Engineering in the University of Limerick where he is currently studying Engineering, Design and Manufacture.

We are delighted to develop this link with Salesian College to acknowledge and support excellence in engineering.
