The hotel group’s financial director agreed and a decision was made to spend money on cleaning the existing system and re-setting the temperature of the main plant to the manufacturer’s design limits. The end result was a system that operated to higher efficiency with lower call outs. The cost of the cleaning and re-commissioning was recouped within six months.
