THE CHALLENGE

Holiday Inn Express situated on O’Connell Street Upper, Dublin. Newly refurbished and converted from an office block to modern Hotel. Comprising of 198 bedrooms, ground floor, basement, reception and meeting rooms. We were contracted to supply and install the best in energy efficiency, guest comfort, system reliability and complete user friendly controls.

THE SOLUTION

Considering our options, we choose to supply and install Daikin
VRV equipment throughout the hotel due to the flexibility for balancing heat loads in different parts of the building, while the precise zone control allowed for each room or floor be controlled individually saving energy. Operating at low noise levels while providing continuous heating preventing any cold drafts, optimised for complete comfort. This versatility provided us with the complete solution while incorporating the EN378 Standard for an unbeatable hospitality air conditioning system. We provided guest rooms and
public areas with 205 ducted units of low or medium static pressure, 20 VRV Heat Recovery outdoor units, 2 VRV fully flat cassettes, 203 Remote Controllers and 1 Intelligent Touch Manager Centralised Controller. Enjoy your stay!
